Graduates obtain a CGPA of 3.00 and above in each convocation:

  • 40% for Engineering Programmes
  • 60% for Engineering Technology Programmes
  • 95% for Technology Programmes
  • 90% for the Communication Programmes and Business Programmes
  • 60% for Diploma in Engineering Programmes

Quality Objective 2

75% of lecturers with PhD qualification or its equivalent

Quality Objective 3

Ratio of academic staff to undergraduates:

  • 1:20 for Engineering Programmes
  • 1:15 for Engineering Technology Programmes
  • 1:15 for Technology Programmes
  • 1:25 for Business Programmes
  • 1:25 for the Communication Programmes (Theory)
  • 1:15 for the Communication Programmes (Practical)

Satisfaction Index annually:

30% of the minimum number of the required academic staff (based on staff: student ratio of 1:20 for each engineering programme in the faculty) are registered as Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent
