Faculty Background
The faculty of Civil Engineering & Technology (FKTA) was formed on 1st September 2022 (previously known as Faculty of Civil Engineering Technology, FTKA) after UniMAP had undergone a major restructuring process that involved the School of Environmental Engineering, and the Faculty of Technology Engineering. FKTA was formerly known as the School of Environmental Engineering, Universiti Malaysia Perlis was founded in January 2006. It is the 8th engineering school established in UniMAP. Initially, the main objective of the establishment of the School of Environmental Engineering was to cater to the electrical and electronic waste produces by the industry. However, due to the current demand, the school has grown and become more diverse covering major areas in environmental and civil engineering.
Located at Jejawi and Sungai Chuchuh, Perlis, FTKA is surrounded by both urban and sub-urban views; promising a fascinating campus life for the students throughout their academic experiences.
FKTA currently offers four undergraduate programs namely:
